Revolutionary Romans
I worked with the National Literacy Trust on Games Up, a huge story created by 70 young people from North Yorkshire, that reimagined local landmarks.
The inspiration for this year's project was the discovery of Roman villa remains found near Eastfield in Scarborough – the Revolutionary Romans. Young writers and illustrators across the North Yorkshire Coast sent in their ideas of what life might have been like in Roman times, ready to be compiled into one huge story by best-selling children's author Saviour Pirotta.
