A quick and dirty personal lockdown project, combining music and creative coding.

In lockdown 1, to keep myself sane I picked up my guitar and started messing around with music after a number of years away from it. The end result was two finished tracks and a handful of loops or semi-recorded ideas.

Now we're in lockdown 2, I decided to get back into playing with some creative coding to keep myself amused, something I've again not done for a couple of years.

The artwork in these cover mockups were all made using a generative art program. I had to more-or-less re-learn the basic coding from scratch, and then also introduce the new concept of interacting and analysing audio input. The two mockups above are created using the music tracks I recorded in lockdown 1 as an input, with the artwork elements responding and changing based on the audio.

The music tracks are here, in case you're interested:)

“…a very creative thinker who is not afraid to push boundaries and to make people think… a unique style and can turn his hand to any type of project to produce something original…”
