Adam & Joe Flash Soundboard

Monday, October 26th, 2009

I’ve been a fan of Adam & Joe since they were on the telly, but I didn’t realise they had a radio show until last year when I discovered podcasts. The weekly download keeps me going into the early hours at work & doubtless annoys the hell out of the people sitting next to me when I start giggling like a loon & spitting coffee everywhere.

As part of my program of teaching myself Flash I decided to try & extend the Podmax illustration I did & to try & make it animated. This then developed into trying to make it fully interactive. The results can be seen below.

Get Adobe Flash player

There are currently 5 clickable buttons that trigger sound clips & 2 draggable objects. If anyone has any suggestions for sound clips they’d like including as extra buttons then please let me know & i’ll try to include them. When I get chance & learn more Flash/Actionscript I’ll add extra bits & bobs & more sounds, etc.

For now enjoy…

First Flash Animation

Apologies to anyone who followed a link from Twitter to my last post to find nothing but a link to the Flash Player download page, I had a little trouble working out how to get this to display. But here it is, my first attempt at Flash animation, & even though it’s only really simple & there’s probably a hundred better & easier ways to do the same thing, i’m quite chuffed with it.

Flash Animation

Sunday, August 2nd, 2009

Apologies for the lack of recent updates. This is mainly due to working extra long hours at work over the last 2 months & for the foreseeable future. Even though I haven’t been posting much I have been working hard. I have a collection of scribbled on Post-It notes waiting to be scanned, I’ve been working on a couple of new tee designs & i’ve been learning a bit of Flash. I finished my first (slightly ropey) Flash animation earlier this evening, but unfortunately WP won’t allow it to be posted. I’ll look into this & try to get it posted ASAP.
