I'm a freelance illustrator & designer from Scarborough, UK. For the last five years i've worked in a busy artwork studio designing adverts, artwork & websites for Yellow Pages. For contractual reasons none of this work is available to view on this website. After five years it's time to move on & i'm now looking for a new position in a Graphic Design agency/company in the Scarborough, York, Hull or Leeds area. I'm also avalable for freelance work. For any offers of employment, collaborations, quote requests or just to chat drop me a line on one of the channels above.
I'm completely self taught in the major design programs, & I create most of my work in Illustrator & Photoshop, specialising in character design & illustration. I love drawing & screen-printing & have recently rediscovered my first love of animation. I’m currently teaching myself the inner workings of Flash & After Effects with the aim of being able to further develop the characters I create.

Earlier this week I signed up for a gallery over at Digital Artist magazine’s website & after 3 days my Wicker Man image has been picked as image of the week & is featured on the front page. A great result!
In other news i've recently upgraded to Creative Suite 5 & i'm currently learning all new tricks in Illustrator, Photoshop, Dreamweaver & Flash. As part of the upgrade i've also managed to get my hands on After Effects for motion & animation work.

After a number of server side problems with the Wordpress iteration of the site i've stripped out all the PHP & reverted back to plain old HTML & CSS. There may still be a few bugs that pop up from time to time, if you find one please drop me a line to let me know & i'll fix it ASAP.
